I thought the movie was great. It was so adventurous and imaginative. I can't think of one movie evan close to a story like that. I mean it was unique, creative not evan words can describe how i feel about that movie. I can't wait to buy it. I loved seeing it in 3D. The effects. All i can say about the movie is ; WOW! it was that good. There were scary scenes so I would not suggest this movie for kids under the age of 6. BUT IT STILL WAS A GREAT MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A movie visually made for the theater. Great effects, beautiful scenes, and well acted.
The story is reminiscent of a live-action "Furngully"...minus the singing and Robin Williams. Well written and directed. Visuals are strong enough that everyone from children to Grandparents will think its amazing.
I know there is a lot of hype surrounding this one, but it will not be as exciting on video. -
This movie containing lots of sadness, happiness, and makes you want to punch the general. I rated this movie 5 stars because I loved it!!!!!! I think you should see it ,but it is way too long ,but I still loved it and, you will too for sure!!!

This was an excellent movie. Good theme on what the human race is all about. Great colors I loved this movie. Actually I'm going to go watch it again
When it comes out on DVD I'll be for sure making it an addition to my movie library.

i am horrified that this movie has received so much publicity ...so much hoopla. My daughter and i ended up walking out as soon as the pathetic looking dogs starting going after him.....sat through enough sci fi crap . there is no acting just special digital crap. totally disappointed. waste of money. no depth...all digital mumbo jumbo...

I was very surprised by this movie.I was very un excited by what i heard about it expected a waste of time. couldnt have been more wrong. I great movie. with the corporate monsters finally getting theirs...
In a time when people with great wealth are seizing what they want
{like our treasuries}.. This movie sticks up for the little people in this case aliens. -
Truly a triumph of style over substance. Once again Cameron proves that he hasn't had an original idea (ever), and wouldn't know one if it bit him on the ass. This movie never surprised me, and was basically a 3 hour waste of time and money.
Sure it was pretty, but you would think they could work in some new plot lines for $300 million dollars. If I'm going to see a movie just for the special effects, I'd rather have it be action packed, and Avatar was certainly anything but. -
This is one of the best movies I've seen in years. Great cast, great story line and wonderful computer animation. Also the theme of the movie is timely. Mr. Camron has out-done himself again. Don't miss thisd one while it's in theaters.

Great movie, strong and different story line, amazing special effects......one word of advice though: This is in 3D and if you have a headache or not feeling well, not advisable to watch the movie that day. I had not slept well the night before and had a slight6 headache the day I went for the movie. Moreover I was late so I had to sit in the 2nd row. It gave me a spolitting headache and my eyes throbbed like crazy. So, its a great movie but be prepared for a bad headache or diziness if you get a front row seat or you are not feeling well already.

I went with family to se Avatar and expected to be a poor knockoff of the TV series. We were not only glad it had nothing to do with the series, but were all very impressed with teh movie overall. Great cinematography, special effects, and a good story to bind it all together. Highly recommend it to anyone. Good for the entire family.
